Mark Bilyeu

Ok so we have this club at school called The Academy of Rock, and some of the things we do is try to get artist to come to our school, when they are in town playing a gig, and have them either perform or just talk.

We have had The drive by truckers, The Hold Steady, and our Beloved Amsterband.

So We were having Mark Bilyeu of Big Smith and Cary Hudson come play. And I knew Mark Bilyeu was of Big Smith. And I knew Big Smith from amsterband, But I just looked at the BitBB case and saw he mastered the album! weird! Unfortunetly Mark could not come because he had walking anomia. But Cary was amazing!

I knew I liked steel guitar before but now I love it! Sooo much...maybe amsterband could do a song with a steel guitar....

Yes, we can all atest for Mark's amazing musicianship. It's a shame that he wasn't able to come, because he's a fantastic songwriter with an incredible voice. Not to mention he can tickle the frets with the rest of them...
