| Since we can no longer be the Amsterbandwagon, we need to come up with a name that is just as great as the Amsterbandwagon.
I know that there have been a couple of names thrown around on the other thread, but Audi, B, & I thought that all of you should post your ideas on here. And, then we can decide what we like the best...
So...with that being said...let the names begin (haha I crack myself up) |

| I suggested Tonkawagon, but that's a little too much like the old name. SO it's not real original. I for one liked Lefisch's Tonkatruckers...
I've tried to think of others but I'm out of suggestions. |

| Audi and I had a discussion about the Tonkatruckers yesterday...and I didn't think that it was that original. Only...because everyone is familiar with Tonka Trucks, and I think that sorta takes away from the whole idea of Ha Ha Tonka.
But, that's just me. |

| Not a fan of the Tonka Trail. I like Marties suggestion with the Tonkateers. How about Tonkatester or Tonkacampers or Tonkatwits or Tonkateam...oo that's a good one.
Oh and T-Shirts should be called TonkaTees.
We should keep thinking of TonkaT names. They flow good. Help me out. |

| I'm still partial Tonkatruckers...why wouldn't you want to name it after a familiar childhood toy? And yeah...not a fan of Tonka Trail either... plus if you grew up in the area I grew up, it would remind you of a Jr High school name (we had Pioneer Trail, Oregon Trail, Sante Fe Trail...) Tonkateers is my second favorite so far.
Or maybe we should just be the Badonkadonk Team...lol. "Badonkadonk is a slang term for a woman's buttocks that are voluptuously large and firm, yet bouncy." --can you believe that's in Wikipedia? Lol...can you picture it? So...It's that time again to get the badonkadonk together. Let's squeeze out some good ideas....ok, that was too far...lol |

| You sure did...Carrie and I sold you your Tonka Tee. You can thank the fabulous Miss Audi for those.
As far as the street team name goes, I'm out. I'm not putting my thinking cap on any more...for many reasons. |

| Audi- those tanks are tonktastic! maybe even tonkacular! I love em! I wear mine to watch Colbert, and I think his wordsmithing is rubbing off - ubertonktronic tonkaphile! ... is this getting scary yet? About the names... Ha Ha tonkatoos? the Ha Ha Happy Campers? Dances with Wolves? hee hee Tonkatruckers isn't bad, but I understand the critiques. Maybe if we all don those new white tanks (with a few beer stains), skin tight blue jeans and some chew.... I think I could we could pull it off, I'm pretty tough... and a little smoky and the bandit never hurt anybody.... |

| Yeah I'm still liking the Tonkatruckers. I'm wearin me a Big Foot Monster Truck hat right now and I'm feeling pretty Ozarkian. I'm ready to hop in my 18 wheeler and hit the road promotin' Ha Ha Tonka. |

| Ha! Rafe the trucker... ten-four good buddy
well, I'll reiterate that tonkatruckers is a bit "backwoodsy" - and by that I mean a few hundred yards past footstomp in the direction of deliverance, and if you remember deliverance, that kid on the porch was scary... too scary even to see past the inbreeding to the great banjo playing.... those slanty eyes....
So in other words, maybe this name seems to only bring Burt Reynolds films to mind for me. (this could be the sign of a larger problem) Tonkateers is still on the list for me, but what else we got?
Amy Lynne don't give up yet! |
